Brantford Research & Action Groups
LB Students for Palestine
This group hopes to bring about positive social progress by creating a place where important issues regarding Israel and Palestine can be discussed, as we believe it is a crucial and continuing conversation that needs to be had on campus. Our goal would be to hold sessions where members would meet to discuss and debate popular opinions held about current issues regarding the Palestinian situation.
We would like to hold education campaigns, an annual panel of speakers, as well as documentary screenings. Through these events, we hope to work to achieve our overall goals of education and awareness. Contact: email@example.com Safa Youness

Advocates for a Student Culture of Consent
Advocates for a Student Culture of Consent (ASCC) is a collective passionate about ending sexual violence. This team of Laurier students and alumni recognized the reality of rape culture in Ontario universities, and were inspired to create a culture of consent here at Laurier. ASCC, with support from fellow Laurier organizations and community partners has created the first-ever sexual violence policy and response protocol for WLU. ASCC runs Consent is Golden.
